Sarah Burton has recently been named the new creative director for Alexander Mcqueen. She has been with the brand since 1996 and has worked very closely with him. She started right before she graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Recently she has been working as the head of womenswear for the brand. I wish her the best of luck and for the future of the brand. In a statement she released last Thursday she said she wants to "stay true to his legacy" I cannot wait to see her first collection in her new position.
