Allsaints

A few weeks ago, I was out shopping with my sister when we came across a store called Allsaints. She had been there before and said she thought I would like it. We went in and I fell in love. I had been on the website before and I thought the clothes were cool, but not amazing, but when I saw it in person I was taken back. I wanted almost everything in the store. Here are my notes on the store:
1.) Go for the T-shirts. If you only can get one thing in the store, get a t-shirt. While the leather jackets and jeans are great, they are not nearly as special as the t-shirts. Their designs provide a great base to wear out under a flannel, cardigan, or jacket. These shirts are edgy and cool without turning out like Billabong or Hurley.
2.) The shoes are also a great addition to your wardrobe. I have searched all around LA for boots that I love. Most stores have fantastic boots on mannequins but when I ask them if they have them in my size they say the shoes are just for display. These boots are the ones I have been looking for. They are clean and simple but they are also original.
3.) Stay in the Men's section! Ladies I am sorry to say, but the Women's section is awful other than the shoes. For everything else go to the Men's section. The t-shirts in the womens section are borderline Ed Hardy and everything else just isn't that great. Although the Men's shirts might be a little big, the cuts are much better.
