Project Runway Season 8

Project Runway is back! Some designers are awful as usual, but this season features a handful of designers that are very architectural, and innovative. Lifetime might be taking this a little bit more seriously now that the popularity has dropped. I am eager to see the difference of this season but I am skeptical because of the last two. I am currently compiling a list of my favorites but for now enjoy this video:

Congratulations Seth-Aaron!

Congratulations, Seth-Aaron! I was blown away by the collection and I think he has a great chance of being successful. He put on the best show and I am happy to announce that you all agree with the judges decision as the majority of you who voted in our poll wanted him to win. I will be sure to update you on his ventures in the fashion world. I will post my notes on the shows later.

My oh Maya!

First off, let me say I have been losing interest in Project Runway as each episode passes by. In a past episode, the judges eliminated Jesse unjustly and kept Emilio and his stripper bikini, and this week's episode doesn't help either. Emilio's fabric was awful! I cannot believe he won, and Tim Gunn thinks the same. On his lifetime blog he stated that Emilio's fabric "looked sloppy and childlike. There was no semblance of sophistication." Seth Aaron and Maya were robbed of a win. Speaking of Maya, in my last post about Project Runway, she did not present a collection. Although I did not know the reason then, this video could explain it all (WARNING SPOILERS):

Mysterious Maya

In my last post I shared some previews of the Bryant Park Collections of then top ten. Maya Luz did not show a collection, but in this week's episode Maya was in and Janeane was eliminated. I waited the whole episode for a twist where Maya messed up, but she barely spoke. So what happened to Maya? We can only wait to find out and it might be a long wait because she looks like she is doing well. Did she violate a rule? Leave on a personal matter? Your guess is as good as mine. Check back here for updates on the mysterious exit of Maya Luz.

Project Runway Bryant Park Collections!

SPOILER ALERT! If you watch Project Runway and do not want to see pictures of Bryant Park Collections and know the final ten, do not read this post!

So, I am semi-enjoying this years season of Project Runway, although I believe this season and last season have lacked compared to the others. I like Amy Sarabi, Maya Luz, and Jay Nicolas Sario the best, and when I opened the New York Post this morning, I saw pictures of the final ten designers' Bryant Park collections! They have not revealed the final three, but since the Project Runway finale airs after New York fashion week, the final ten designers' collections have been spotted! By the way, Faith Hill is the guest judge! Here are some pictures:

Maya Luz unfortunately did not present a collection, which means she is out next week.
