It was well worth the wait for Tom Ford's return to womenswear. Tom Ford, noted menswear designer released his first namesake women's collection a few months back. This collection was showed in a super secret fashion show consisting of an audience of editors. His collection follows the seventies trend that we have seen on many runways this spring and has a Tom Ford flare. His suits were amazing as anticipated, but his dresses were equally as gorgeous. The flapper-like coats and gowns that graced the runway stole the show. Ford wants to continue to show his future collections in this way, inviting editors to his London showroom. He doesn't want his collections to be overexposed and wants to keep his buyers anticipating to see his clothes in stores rather than on celebrities.
